The 10th China International New Media Short Film Festival (CSFF) kicked off at Huaqiang Idea Park in Guangming District yesterday and will run till Sunday. A total of 5,008 short films from 122 countries and regions are being presented at the festival.

The 10th CSFF short film screenings and activities are being held in cinemas, colleges and universities across Shenzhen. Major events include the opening ceremony, KingBonn Awards (Short Film Director Supporting Program), Outdoor Short Film Screening Carnival in Guangming District, International Short Film Screening, College Day and Micro-video Night.
Founded in 2010, the festival is the only nationally recognized international short film festival in China and is hosted by the National Radio and Television Administration and the Shenzhen government with the aim of encouraging the creation of outstanding new media short films across the globe.
